Merging skills in healing and performing arts Speckled Stone is committed to works that evoke a visceral response; transforming both the viewer and performer.

The arts were venerated as a conduit to divine understanding in human conditions. To transcend in lessons that helped humanity to question their own reality was its goal.  Returning to this origin we find a powerful use and reverence for the arts.

The use of symbols plays an important role on peoples subconscious minds.  An example here is the cherry blossom which holds great significance in both Chinese and Japanese cultures. However the symbolic nature has completely different meanings.  It is regarded as love and feminine power in China, yet in Japan it is a symbol of death and transformation.  Using symbolic imagery for performance often has an immediate but hidden effect on the viewer and depending on cultural norms will have various results.  I suppose linking the two a more profound meaning occurs
.Exploring these issues is just one example of Speckled Stones creative process leading to performance or show.
